Edward Kotlyanskiy (born November 3, 1986) is a correspondence chess master from New York City. He was the 3rd FICGS correspondence chess world champion (2010) after having won the previous final match against 2-time FICGS Champion, Xavier Pichelin, obtaining 8.0 points (+4 =8). He have played the 4th final match of the championship against another correspondence chess & freestyle chess player, Italian GM Eros Riccio, rated 2618 at ICCF, winner of the 1st and 3rd FICGS freestyle cup, an advanced chess tournament, and champion PAL/CSS Freestyle, and was defeated by him and transferred to him the title of world champion FICGS (2011).
