Explaining the same Elina Svitolina added, “At the end of 2018, after winning the final tournament, I went to celebrate with my Paris friends. I posted a photo on Instagram, and Gael wrote to me. We met and could no longer part.” However, she is thankful to have gotten into a relationship with a sportsperson rather than someone not connected with the sport. She feels this makes it easier for them to understand each other’s difficulties and provide support whenever they need it.
