Aalaa "Ella" Al-Shamahi (Arabic: آلاء الشماحي; born 1983 or 1984) is a British explorer, paleoanthropologist, evolutionary biologist, writer, stand-up comic, science communicator and television presenter. She specialises in the study of Neanderthals. She is a trustee of the International Association for the Study of Arabia.
