Emil J. Biggel originates from the southern part of Germany. He got his certificate in electronics after passing the exams under his mentor Dr. Klein, he then started his professional career at PEK Electronics. It wasn't long thereafter he had to render military service. After his service, in 1973 he started his own company for the production of LCD watches, one of the very first in Germany.
