Enzo Traverso (born 14 October 1957 in Gavi, Piedmont region, Italy) is an Italian communist historian who has written on issues relating to the Holocaust and totalitarianism. After living and working in France for over 20 years, he is currently the Susan and Barton Winokur Professor in the Humanities at Cornell University.
