Erastus Bankole Akingbola MON, FCIB, FNIM (born 26 October 1950) is a Nigerian banker, investor and philanthropist. He was the former group managing director (GMD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Intercontinental Bank and its affiliates. He is the founder and chairman of Tropics Finance and Investment Company and Inspiration 92.3 FM and also a former chairman of Associated Discount House limited. He was West Africa's 2004 representative on the Executive Board of the African Bankers Forum, an arm of the AFREXIMBANK, which seeks to integrate private sector banking institutions in Africa for continental business finance.
