Frederick Laurence Green (1902–1953) was a British author who had 14 titles published between 1934 and 1952. He is best known for his 1945 novel, Odd Man Out, which was filmed by Carol Reed, also as Odd Man Out, in 1947. The novel was also used as the basis of the 1969 Sidney Poitier movie The Lost Man (1969).
