Félicien M. Steichen (October 13, 1926 – June 27, 2011) was a Luxembourgish-born American surgeon and Professor of Surgery.
He was a pioneer in the development and use of surgical staples.
He and Mark M. Ravitch are considered the fathers of modern surgical stapling.
Steichen was also noted for his contributions to the development of minimally-invasive surgery.
