Frank Benjamin Grouard (also known as Frank Gruard and Benjamin Franklin Grouard) (20 September 1850 –
15 August 1905) was a Scout and interpreter for General George Crook during the American Indian War of 1876. For the better part of a decade he lived with the Sioux tribe before returning to the society of people of the U.S.A. He was present at the immediate aftermath of the Battle of the Little Bighorn and several other historical fights of the 1800s including the Wounded Knee Massacre.
