Fredrik Carlstrom (born July 27, 1976) started his career answering phones at an advertising agency. He later started writing and went to school for creative writing. Half way through school he founded an ad agency called Graceland Sthlm, at the age of 21. The agency grew to be creatively acclaimed and was specially known for its unorthodox approach and merging of entertainment and advertising. At the agency he also started directing commercials. He recently co-produced Destricted - a series of pornographic short films directed by contemporary image-makers including Marina Abramovic, Matthew Barney, Marco Brambilla, Larry Clark, Gaspar Noé, Richard Prince and Sam Taylor-Wood.
