Gabrielle Rifkind is the Director of Oxford Process, an independent preventive diplomacy initiative. She is a group analyst, practising psychotherapist, specialist in conflict resolution, an accredited mediator and in her private time she is a committed painter. She is a great believer in the role of non-governmental organisations to act as informal and independent third-party in preventive diplomacy to support official mediation efforts. She is the founder of Oxford Process which works quietly behind the scenes to build relationships with conflict parties to identify opportunities to reduce tensions or prevent further escalation of violence.
