George Edward Allen (February 29, 1896 – April 23, 1973) was an American political operative and crony ("poker-playing intimate" and even "court jester") for US Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, and Dwight D. Eisenhower (as well as one-time head football coach of Cumberland University's football team in their lopsided match against Georgia Tech.)
