Gerard Hemsworth (27 December 1945 - 15 February 2021) was a contemporary artist and painter known for his line drawings and paintings, as well as his early works in the 1970s, concerned with the relationship between art and its audience. In 2000, he was the winner of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition Charles Wollaston Prize with his work 'Between Heaven and Hell'.
