Gi Ja-oh (Korean: 기자오; Hanja: 奇子敖; 1266 – 1328) was a Korean general and nobleman born during the Goryeo period. He is most famous for being the father of Öljei Khutuk (more commonly known as Empress Gi or Empress Ki; Korean: 기황후)one of the primary empresses of Toghon Temür of the Yuan dynasty and Gi Cheol (Korean: 기철; Hanja: 奇轍), and was married to Wangzai Han Khatun. Gi Ja-oh was stationed, as a commander, in Inju (present-day Incheon). Later during Empress Gi's reign, Ja-oh was granted the title of King. Gi Ja-oh is also the grandfather of the founder of Northern Yuan dynasty, Biligtü Khan.
