Gunnar Shogren (born November 5, 1965) is a mountain bike racer. Gunnar became a professional in 198x. A movie, Scars Don't Sweat, was made in the 1998 racing season about his struggle to retire from professional racing. Gunnar still races, primarily for fun, on mountain bikes, cyclo-cross bikes, and road bikes mostly in West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. He currently is sponsored by the team FORT-GPOA team and Sobe-Cannondale.
