Hamelin Trelawny (16 October 1782 – 3 May 1846) was a British politician that served as governor of Saint Helena. Born to a baronet, he would enlist in the British military in 1798, eventually rising to the rank of colonel. He would be appointed Governor of Saint Helena on 24 August 1841, and would serve in the position until his death.
