Hanne Safar (Syriac: ܚܢܐ ܣܦܪ; 1859–1915), also known as Hanne Safar Pasha (Syriac: ܚܢܐ ܣܦܪ ܦܵܫܵܐ), was a Syriac–Assyrian tribal leader and mayor of Midyat during the late Ottoman period, born to the noble Safar family. He played a significant role in the Second Bedirkhanis Revolt, siding with the Ottoman Empire. He was instrumental in organizing assistance to the Ottoman army throughout the revolt. In recognition of his service and loyalty, he was later granted the title of Pasha and was presented with a sword blessed by the Sultan himself. In 1894, he was elected as chief of the Kurdish Dekşuri Confederation. He was later beheaded during the Sayfo in 1915.
