Harsha Iyer (born 12 March 1992) is an independent Indian musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Chennai, India. He was the frontman, guitarist and vocalist for Chennai-based punk rock band "Borrowed Halos" until 2011. He has two solo albums (both self-produced) to his credit, where Iyer plays most of the instruments himself and sings the lead parts as well. His first independent, self-produced solo album Curious Toys was released on 28 September 2011 as an internet release through the popular online music website. Iyer followed up with a second album "When It's Time - Part I" in July 2012. Despite spending a lot on equipment that powers his well equipped bedroom studio setup "Studio Utopia", Iyer chose to put up both his albums for free download on his website granting a wider audience access to his music.
