Hassan Shahid Suhrawardy (08 September 1892 – 5 December 1963), an educationist, poet, linguist, writer, art-critic and diplomat, was born on 24 October 1890 in the famous Bengali Suhrawardy family of Kolkata. Shahid Suhrawardy was unmarried and died on 5th December 1963 in Karachi.
