Heather L. Heine is one of two students annually accepted to the University of British Columbia combined MD/PhD Program in Vancouver, British Columbia. In the Department of Pathology Heine completed her PhD exploring the potential for a novel bioreactor model to provide a platform to study angiogenesis, stem cells and tissue regeneration within the body (In vivo. Heine also serves as a member of the Implementation Task Force for Curriculum Renewal on the Scholarship and Curriculum Governance Sub-Committees.
