Hermenegildo Arruga i Liró (March 15, 1886 - May 17, 1972) was a Spanish ophthalmologist known for refining several eye surgeries. He devised one of the early procedures to address retinal detachment, and he received the Gonin Medal from the International Council of Ophthalmology in 1950.
