Hiztullah Nasrat Yar or Izatullah Nasrat Yar is a citizen of Afghanistan who was held for almost five years in the United States Guantanamo Bay detention camps, in Cuba.<Yar issued a sworn statement in support of his crippled father, Nasrat Khan, who was also detained in Guantanamo before being released in September 2006. Both father and son were represented by attorney Peter M. Ryan, from Dechert.
