Ignatius Cockshutt (August 24, 1812 – March 1, 1901), was a Canadian businessman and philanthropist. The son of James Cockshutt and Mary Nightingale, he was born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England.
He came to Canada with his parents in July 1827.
