Igor Leonidovich Markov (born in 1973) is an Ukrainian-American professor, computer scientist and engineer. Markov is known for results in quantum computation, work on limits of computation, research on algorithms for optimizing integrated circuits and on electronic design automation, as well as artificial intelligence platforms and AI for chip design. Markov serves on the board of Nova Ukraine, a U.S.-based nonprofit that has delivered large-scale humanitarian aid to Ukraine and has participated in oversight and fundraising activities.
