Juha Petri Kalevi Jaavalo (born Finland, 1969) is a Helsinki-based poet, graphic artist and visual artist. In his early youth, he lived and studied in Espoo for about 20 years, after which it was time to move back to Helsinki in 1995. During his university studies in the 1990´s he to become interested in literature. Postgraduate studies and working conditions at the beginning of the 21st century were conducive to creating more sophisticated images, just to the degree of experimentation. In his publications, he has numerous picture books (Ifolor, 2010-2012), poetry books (BoD, 2013-2016) and the Internet web work Computer Paintings (HAT, 2017). Most of the poems in the book of poetry have been based on lyrical visions of precisely these eras and the spontaneity of the present.
