Jacob Owen (28 July 1778 – 29 October 1870) was a British architect, civil engineer, and public administrator of the nineteenth century. His architectural work is most closely associated with Dublin, Ireland. He also contributed extensively to shaping public architecture throughout Ireland, through his design and oversight of schools, asylums, prisons and other public buildings associated with British rule.
