James Arnot Hamilton (2 May 1923 – 24 May 2012) was a British aircraft designer who helped design Concorde and the SEPECAT Jaguar. He also served as the permanent secretary of the Department for Education. Specialising in wing design, he was largely responsible for Concorde's distinctive wing.
