I live in Vermont and I havent met a villemaire i am not related to. Vilemaires came from Andre Real from france and the name had a few changes since then. My Great grandfather was Pierre Villemere fomr montreal

Hello there,My maiden name is Villemaire also.My father;s name is James Richard Villemaire.He has a brother William and sisters Mary and Elizabeth.There father`s name was William C. Villemaire.Im wondering if we are relatives in anyway.We are from New Hampshire and I believe My grandfather William was born in Canada.

this may sound crazy, my maiden name was also Villemaire. I was born and raised in Miami, Fl.My father`s name was William Joseph,originally from Michigan. I do know he had a twin sister. Do not know her name,my parents were divorced not long after my birth, 1955. My Grandparents lived in Nothern Miami for years, never met him, met her once when I was 18. I now live in Mt. Laurel, N.J.with my husband and son. Just thought I would drop this line, our last name is not very common in the U.S. more in Canada. Other name in the family is Gauthier. If you have the time to reply,I think it would be enlightening. Thank you, Anita Davis
