Jamiel S. Altaheri (born February 23, 1983) is an American law enforcement officer and executive manager. He is the first Yemeni American Police Chief in the United States and the first Yemeni American to attain the rank of police captain in the NYPD and has been described as one of the highest-ranking Muslim officers in the department.
