They had one child, the Hon. Arthur Dudley Law (15 February 1828 – 1 February 1830). Arthur's biological father was Jane's cousin; after her cousin ended their affair, she had at least two more affairs. After the news of her affair with Prince Felix of Schwarzenberg became public, Lord and Lady Ellenborough were divorced by Act of Parliament in 1830.
