Former teen idol Jason Priestley has revealed how he shared a joint with Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger and his ex-wife Jerry Hall as they lay sprawled on a hotel bed - while on a doomed trip to Ireland to romance singer Andrea Corr. Jason, now 44, reveals he had a short-lived fling with Andrea after meeting her on the set of his hit show, Beverly Hills 90210, in his new memoir. And he breaks his silence on the affair with the raven-haired beauty, recalling how she gave him the cold shoulder when he flew to see her - but admits it led to a memorable evening where he ended up in a hotel suite smoking marijuana with the music legend and the supermodel. Now a married father-of-two, Jason writes of his initial 'very friendly encounter' with Andrea, the lead singer of the Corrs, at the World Music Awards in 1999. Jason tells how he was invited to the Irish Fashion Awards in 2000 by actor John Hurt shortly after he flew to London to appear in the play Side Man in the West End. He writes: 'I thought 'why not?' What really tipped the balance was the chance to see Andrea Corr again, from the Corrs. Not only had the Corrs performed at the Peach Pit After Dark, but we'd had a very friendly encounter the previous year at the World Music Awards and I knew she'd be at these awards. I wanted to see her again, so I grabbed an overnight bag and flew to Dublin, checked into U2's hotel, the Clarence, and headed to the awards ceremony. The place was simply raging.' However, things did not go quite as Jason imagined, saying: 'During the awards intermission, most of the audience left their seats and milled around in the lobby. I spotted Andrea standing at the bar and made a beeline for her, saying: 'Hey, how are you?' 'She looked me up and down and then said in a chilly tone 'I didn't know you were going to be here' and then looked back down into her drink. 'I was taken aback. 'Hmmm...well...okay then. See you later.' Suffice to say, she wasn't thrilled to see me in the least. Wonder what I did to illicit that kind of response? Oh well.' Despite his hopes of a reunion being dashed, Jason was then introduced to U2 by John Hurt's Irish girlfriend, Sarah Owens. And he then recounts how he ended up in a huge suite, with Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall lounging on a bed, 'passing a joint back and forth'.
