Prince George Galitzine's second wife was British fashion model and RAF code-breaker Jean Dawnay. The pair fell in love at first sight while dancing the twist together and she married the Prince, descended from one of Russia's most noble families, in Rome in 1963. Their daughter Princess Catherine "Katya" Galitzine was born in 1964. They remained married until his death in 1992.
