Jean François-Poncet (8 December 1928 – 18 July 2012) was a French politician and diplomat who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs under Valéry Giscard d'Estaing between November 1978 and May 1981. From 1983 until 2010, he had been a member of the French Senate.
