Jeffrey Lane Fortenberry (born December 27, 1960) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Nebraska's 1st congressional district since 2005. A member of the Republican Party, his district is based in Lincoln and includes most of the eastern third of the state outside the immediate Omaha area. He currently is the dean of Nebraska's congressional delegation.
