Jen Michalski is an American writer of fiction. Her debut novel, The Tide King, was published by Black Lawrence Press in 2013 (2012 winner of BLP's Big Moose Prize). and her second novel, The Summer She Was Under Water, was published by Queens Ferry Press in 2016 and acquired by Black Lawrence Press in 2017. Her collection of novellas Could You Be With Her Now was published in 2013 by Dzanc Books, and she also has published two collections of fiction, From Here (Aqueous Books, forthcoming, 2013) and Close Encounters (So New, 2007).
