Jeremy Chaim Stein (born October 17, 1960) an American macroeconomist. He is the Moise Y. Safra Professor of Economics at Harvard University, the chair of the Department of Economics at Harvard, and an investment industry consultant. Stein was president of the American Finance Association in 2008, and a member of the Board of Governors of the U.S. Federal Reserve from 2012 to 2014.
