Jeremy Randall Knowles CBE FRS (28 April 1935 – 3 April 2008) was a professor of chemistry at Harvard University,who served as dean of the Harvard University faculty of arts and sciences (FAS) from 1991 to 2002.
He joined Harvard in 1974, received many awards for his research, and remained at Harvard until his death, leaving the faculty for a decade to serve as Dean. Knowles died on 3 April 2008 at his home.
