Jesmin Ara Begum is a Bangladeshi jurist and the first woman to be appointed chief judicial magistrate of Dhaka. She was appointed to this position in 2016 after a 31-year career in the judiciary. Begum had previously served as a District Session Judge in Comilla and in the Administrative Tribunal in Dhaka, Comilla, Munshiganj and Sylhet. In September 2019, she was appointed an honorary member of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of Bangladesh.
