Jim Wells (born 27 April 1957) is a Northern Ireland politician formerly of the Democratic Unionist Party and longest ever serving DUP MLA, formerly Deputy Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly. Wells is one of five Assembly members for South Down. He was a councillor on Down District Council from 2001 to 2011.
