On 'Rolling Stone' magazine, February 15th 1969 issue, she explains: "When Hendrix was in town, the very first time I saw him, I knew what was going to happen and that was the freakiest thing. I saw the whole thing just spin before me. I knew that I was going to be sexually involved with the group and that I would know them and that it would be for a length of time. That was just freaky, the whole thing. I think it was such a strong animal attraction".
