Details
John Kelly manufactured Hammered Dulcimers from 1982 till his retirement in 2005. His instruments were shipped world-wide via the catalog department of Elderly Instruments in Lansing, Michigan. John produced 1098 dulcimers, and developed the unique open-back style of dulcimer which made it easier for a performer to use a microphone beneath the sound board (music) for performance. He also performed on albums by Candice Anderson and Craig Wagner. He keeps in touch with his former customers and friends via his website
