Cohen is a physician currently the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Quest Diagnostics (NYSE: DGX), a company specializing in diagnostic testing, information, and services. Cohen previously served as the Senior Advisor to Governor of New York David A. Paterson and was himself a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of NY in 2006. He frequently advises government officials and elected officials in health policy having served as health care policy advisor H. Carl McCall in 2002 and to the presidential campaign of Massachusett Jon Kerry and the gubernatorial campaigns of Eliot Spitzer in 2006. In 2010, he was named as one the nation’s top 50 most powerful physician executives by Modern Healthcare.
