Jon Hartley (born November 11, 1989) is a Canadian-American economist, best known for his expertise involving macroeconomic environments and public policy recommendations and analysis. Hartley is currently a PhD student studying economics at Stanford University, but has also earned degrees with honors from UPenn, Harvard University, as well as the University of Chicago. Hartley is a regular contributor to Forbes, HuffPost, National Review, The Wall Street Journal, and other major publications.
