Jonathan Neal Pruitt is an American Associate Professor of behavioral ecology and the Canada 150 Research Chair in Biological Dystopias at McMaster University. Pruitt's research, now in question, focused primarily on social spiders. In early 2020, much of Pruitt's published research was identified as having serious data irregularities, and Pruitt was alleged to have fabricated research data.
