Jordy Joe Mercer (born August 27, 1986) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the New York Yankees organization. He previously played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers. Prior to beginning his professional career, he played college baseball at Oklahoma State University. He has also competed for the United States national baseball team in international competition. Mercer bats and throws right-handed.
