José Francisco Ballesta Germán (19 July 1958 – 10 May 2026) was a Spanish medical professor and politician who served as the mayor of Murcia between 2015 and 2021, and again between 2023 and his death in 2026. He was a member of the People's Party. Ballesta previously served as a minister in the Government of the Region of Murcia between 2007 and 2014. He was also a full professor at the University of Murcia and served as the university's president from 1998 to 2006.
