Joseph Merlino is an American psychiatrist. He is Deputy Executive Director of Behavioral Health at Kings County Hospital Center and Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical College. He was previously the Director of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Queens Hospital Center in New York City and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at New York Medical College, where he is also Supervising and Training Analyst.
