Joseph R. Bowen (April 22, 1950 – March 8, 2022) was an American politician. Bowen was a member of the Kentucky State Senate from the 8th District, from 2011 to 2017, choosing not to seek re-election. He was a member of the Republican Party. He previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2005 to 2006. Bowen died on March 8, 2022, at the age of 71.
