Joseph Evseevich Starik (March 23, 1902, in Saratov – March 27, 1964, in Leningrad) was a Soviet radiochemist, a representative of the Russian radiochemical school, a close associate and a friend of Khlopin Vitaly Grigoryevich, for the first time began systematic studies of ionic and colloidal forms of the state of radionuclides in ultra-diluted solutions. Corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1946), three times winner of The Stalin Prize (1949, 1951, 1953).
