Joshua Kutuny is a Kenyan politician. He belonged to the Orange Democratic Movement before he defected to URP, and finally to the Jubilee .He was elected to represent the Cherangani Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. He failed to recapture his parliamentary seat in the 2013 Kenyan elections losing to 2012 Boston Marathon winner Wesley Korir. After losing he was appointed by the President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta as his Political advisor, a post he has held up to 2017 December, when he tendered his resignation and declared his candidature for the Cherangani Parliamentary seat. He was won with a slim margin the Cherangani seat during the 2017 General election. The MP was born in 1978 at Kipkeikei in Cherangany. He is married with two children. Kutuny graduated in 2006 from Moi University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
